No. GhanaTRVL is a discovery and listing platform, not a booking engine. You become a member to appear on the platform. We never process transactions or take a percentage of your revenue. Your customers contact and pay you directly.

Yes, you can upgrade at any time. Contact our partnerships team and we will arrange the difference on a pro-rated basis for the remainder of your membership period. You can downgrade as well, but we do not provide refunds. The downgrade will commence from the next renewal.

Annual billing is standard for all members. Gold and Platinum members who are an affiliate of a partnering Trade Association with a signed agreement with GhanaTRVL can request pay quarterly instead. This is done with one instalment payment and three post-dated cheque. Monthly payment is not available.

Yes, where GhanaTRVL has a signed partnership with your Trade Association. We are in ongoing discussions with a number of associations, contact yours directly for information, or reach out to our partnerships team, to check current status.

GhanaTRVL promotes your business through a combination of methods. From SEO to advertising, content creation and management. The entire platform is focussed on showcasing your offerings in as many places online as possible.

You can sign up to join GhanaTRVL by clicking on the Get Started link above or on the Register your Business button below. Follow the instructions on the registration form to start the enrolment process after which our sales team will reach out to you as soon as possible to help you get started.

GhanaTRVL is aimed at establishing connections, but we do not take your bookings. You are in charge of taking the bookings and arrange the payments direct with your clients.
For Silver + members, you can provide us with a link to your in-house booking engine and add an identifier that looks something like this: ?aid=12345. On your side, you can then see which clients came from GhanaTRVL.
We can also provide you with numbers of clicks on your booking link, but a click does not guarantee it converted into an actual booking.

Any business that operates within Ghana's tourism industry is welcome to join our platform as a Subscriber.
This includes a wide range of providers, ranging from hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, event organisers, tour guides, car rentals, tour operators, activity providers to artisans.

You need a Tourism Registration Certificate from the Ghana Tourism Authority [where applicable] that you will need to provide a copy off during the registration process. If you are a business, then we will need a copy of your Business Registration and VAT number as well.

No - micro, small, medium and large enterprises are all welcome; pricing tiers scale accordingly.

Yes, any business or tourism provider with the necessary legal registration, holding the appropriate and valid tourism permits can join.

Yes! You only pay a yearly membership fee. All income related to bookings you receive through GhanaTRVL are entirely yours. GhanaTRVL does not charge any commission on those bookings.

We offer different packages to suit your needs. Our packages are: Starter level, Silver, Gold and Platinum and it varies depending on the type of services you provide. The costs you can find here Services and pricing.

GhanaTRVL charges the membership fee for your selected level 12 months upfront; no hidden fees. You may upgrade mid-year and pay the prorated difference.

Starter 1 photo, Silver 5 photos, Gold 30 photos and Platinum 50 photos. With Gold and Platinum we also offer your the possibility to upload a 2-min promo video for free.

Affiliates of any of the Tourism Trade Associations, that have joined GhanaTRVL, will receive a 3 month free Silver listing. If you decide to become a paying member from the start, these 3 months will be added to your first year membership [15 months for the price of 12]. If you have tried the Silver level but are not satisfied that you can gain the traction you are looking for, then the membership reverts automatically back to Starter level. 

One location per membership; each extra location needs its own plan (volume discounts apply).

Google-optimised profile, inclusion in themed itineraries, e-mail campaigns, social media reels, event cross-posting and trade-show brochures .

Platinum includes paid Google & Meta ads using your media budget; Gold and Silver gives you free placement in collective campaigns only.

Profiles published in English + Google translate can provide the translations to other languages to capture other source markets.

Yes! GhanaTRVL lets you post flash deals at a rate per day. Premium Members receive a free quota per year for posting promotions.

GhanaTRVL provides direct access to your preferred booking options, be it in-house, Booking.com, TripAdvisor etc, or just by email, website, phone or WhatsApp. We provide the connection, you can then set your deals.

You do! Guests pay you directly (bank, mobile money, credit card or POS) so the cash-flow stays in your hands. That also means that you will have to deal with refunds directly as well.

Zero... with GhanaTRVL! This keeps conversion high and differentiates us from OTAs that add guest fees. If you make use of other platforms to handle your bookings, then those may charge fees as per your agreement with them.

Yes! You are in charge of accepting bookings. GhanaTRVL does not accept or reject bookings on your behalf.

At the moment, we do not intend to provide Digital Training. All data processing is done by our GhanaTRVL team, from registration to changes. This is done to keep things simple for you!

Yes! You will get your own Account Manager that you will communicate with. That account manager is based in Ghana.

GhanaTRVL does not keep a day-to-day register of availability. That is something that is done through your booking services. Where it comes to pricing, we list a price range rather than fixed prices as that would limit you in selling the services at a price your are comfortable with. Any changes in what is on your Portfolio page, just contact us and we will make the changes for you.

Dashboard shows profile views and clicks on the various contact options. Since are not managing your bookings, we cannot provide you any insight into your performance related to bookings and revenue month-by-month.

Yes, for Trade Association Members, you can cancel anytime within the first 90 days; After that, you can cancel at any time however no refund but listing stays live until the paid year ends. If you wish to have your listing deactivated at any point, please contact us and we will make that happen.

Default is annual; For Trade Association Members, quarter-to-quarter is available for Gold and Platinum subscriptions at +20 % surcharge.

You handle service issues; GhanaTRVL does not publicly list reviews but will pass them on to you for your action. Since it is very difficult to differentiate between honest and defamatory content, GhanaTRVL has decided not to support public listing of reviews.

Standard tourism liability cover is required as per the laws of Ghana to operate a tourism providing operation. You are strongly advised to ensure you have the necessary insurances in place!
