GHAPROHA was invited by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly to attend the Sod Cutting Ceremony for the New Tema Sewer Network, the Waste Water Treatment Plant and the Ashaiman Solid Waste Treatment Facility. GHAPROHA has been deeply involved in this project coming to fruition.
On Sunday 25 October 2020, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces performed the ceremonial So Cutting for this new facility.
The afternoon started around 16.30 with the arrival of the Chiefs and other Dignitaries after which His Excellency arrived.
After playing the Ghana National Anthem, Apostle Mathew Buettey-Larbi opened the ceremony in prayer.
As customary, Libation was then poured by the Sakuma Wolomo to ensure the projects would be running well.
Various Ministers and other Dignitaries addressed the attending audience before His Excellency held his Key Note Address.
After the closing prayer by the Tema Metro Imam, the National Anthem once more was played and the official Sod Cutting Ceremony was held.
GHAPROHA was honoured to have been a crucial participant in the new and necessary project starting.
