Ghana Interschool Festival 2026: Empowering Youth Through Sports and Arts
The Ghana Interschool Festival (GIF), in partnership with Multi Pac Ghana Limited, continues to redefine youth development by bringing together students from Cambridge, IB World, and GES private schools onto one dynamic platform. Since its inception in 2016, the festival has grown into one of Ghana’s most impactful interschool events, combining sports and arts competitions within a safe, structured, and highly organized environment.
At its core, the Ghana Interschool Festival is rooted in a mission to elevate sports and arts development in schools. It provides a vibrant and competitive space where young talents are identified, nurtured, and celebrated. Beyond competition, the festival emphasizes character building by instilling discipline, teamwork, confidence, and resilience in students.
A Multi-Disciplinary Platform for Excellence
Participants compete across a wide range of disciplines including football, basketball, swimming, chess, athletics, handball, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, and volleyball. The festival also embraces creativity through art and dance competitions, ensuring a holistic development approach for every child.
The event is supported by key national sporting bodies such as the Ghana Basketball Association, Ghana Football Association or the Regional Football Association, Ghana Athletics, Ghana Badminton Association, Ghana Table Tennis Association, Ghana Swimming Association, Ghana Chess Association, and the Ghana Volleyball Federation. Their involvement ensures professionalism, fairness, and adherence to international standards.
