Kids in Tourism Ghana is a vibrant non-governmental organisation passionately dedicated to enriching the lives of children aged 6 to 14 in Ghana. Children from various backgrounds have a chance to explore, learn and have fun and educational experiences.

To give a spark to a lifelong love in children for Ghanaian culture, history, and exploration through engaging, educational, and entertaining activities.

What We Do

Educational Tours: We organise tours and activities, taking children through Ghana's breath-taking landscapes, introducing to local attractions and showcasing what they can be proud of. Our tours are more than just sightseeing; they're a fusion of fun and learning, where history and culture come alive! This way we are introducing our children to the tourism and cultural potentials of Ghana.

Global Connections: We're not just exploring Ghana; we're building bridges across continents! Our international travels also foster global awareness and cultural exchange, creating a world of new discoveries for our children.

Cultural Immersion: From language lessons to cooking workshops, we offer a diverse range of fun and interactive activities that immerse children in the Ghanaian culture.

Environmental Initiatives: Through clean-up activities and environmental education, we're nurturing young eco-warriors who understand the importance of preserving the environment.

Kids in Tourism Magazine: We have published a magazine that shares stories, facts, and insights about Ghana's cultural heritage, tailored for specifically for young readers and curious minds.

Tourism-related activities in schools: We organise debates, inter-school quizzes, games and talent hunt events.

Kids in Tourism Festival: This event has become one of our signature annual events. The event was officially launched on the 19th December 2015 under the Chairmanship of H.E Thomas Okyere, the Botswana Consular. It has been held annually since.

This is a big day for children. Activities include, grand durbar by kids, representing all regions, musical performances, dances, cooking competitions, sports activities and competitions, quizzes and so much more. It is a full day, filled with creativity and joy.
