Mole National Park was established in 1958, and it was Ghana's first national park ever. Besides wildlife, the park boasts stunningly beautiful natural scenery - hills, savannah grasslands, and entire network of streams and waterfalls.

The best time to go to Mole National Park is anywhere between November and April, when the weather is dry and wildlife is easier to spot. It is also easily accessible by road from Tamale, the capital city of the Northern Region. There are few accommodation options available nearby the park.
