A Rainforest Adventure: Exploring the Canopy Walkway

Kakum National Park is a 357 km park of undisturbed rainforest. As one of the oldest national parks, this conservation area comprises the Kakum National Park and Assin Attandaso Resource Reserve which is just nearby. The park is famous for its impressive canopy walkway, which is one of the longest in Africa. The walkway hangs 40 metres above the ground and stretches over 330 metres through the treetops of the rainforest. Canopy is an experience you won't forget. Every single one of those breathtaking views is so worth it!

Apart from the canopy walkway, Kakum National Park is home to over 500 species of butterflies, 250 species of birds including five hornbill, the Frazer-eagle owl, and the African grey and Senegal parrots. Here you will find many other wildlife - over 100 species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians and forty species of larger mammals, elephants, leopards, antelopes, primate species including the Diana monkey. This guided tour is a chance to experience the nocturnal creatures of the forest, such as the elusive bushbaby and listen to the sounds of the forest at night.
