Joshua, the main character in this play is the son of Madam Umbele who is rumoured to have built an empire and made men her slaves, but Joshua’s father is unknown.
After Joshua mismanages his mother’s kingdom, he sets out on a mission to find the impossible; the third end of the rope. And like in all tragedies, Joshua dies in his quest without successfully achieving his goal. The big question is, does it really exist – The third end of a rope?
And if it does, is it that easy to unravel the mysteries surrounding it?
