The Legon Creative Athletics Club and the University of Ghana Sports Directorate are excited to invite you to the 3rd Ghana Junior Olympics on December 26, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Key Highlights:
Young Talent Showcase: Witness the next generation of Ghanaian athletes compete for glory.
Exciting Races: Every race promises pure excitement from crawling infants to Under-2 athletes to promising under-20 athletes.
Olympian Inspiration: Benjamin Azamati, Ghana’s 100m record holder, will be there to motivate young stars.

Children aged 4 to 16 will compete in events based on their age groups, including the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, and long jump. Crawling infants will take part in the 10m event, while toddlers who have just started walking (around 1½ years old) will participate in the 15m race.

• 10m Crawling Race – Infants

• 100m Sprint:
o Under 4-5 years

• 400m Race:
o Under 10-11 years

Relay Events (Team of 4):
• 4x100m Relay:
o Under 4-5 years
o Under 6-7 years
o Under 8-9 years
o Under 10-11 years

Field Events:
• Long Jump:
o Under 10-11 years
o Under 12-13 years

Awards and Prizes:
Medals: Awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in all categories.
Special Prize: A medal and gift basket for the winners of the Crawling Race and Under 2 categories.
