Details
The Larteh Ohum Festival is a traditional celebration by the Akuapem people to give thanks for the New Yam harvest and seek God’s favor. It honors ancestors and showcases cultural heritage through path clearing, stool purification, a durbar, traditional food and libation. The festival promotes community bonding and celebrates agricultural abundance.
