Dipo is celebrated by the people of Manya and Yilo Krobo. The goal of the festival is to celebrate a young girls new maturity, It is also aimed at teaching good morals and to educate them about sex. Half young women are adorned in beautiful beads and dance through the principal streets to the accompaniments of the traditional musical instruments.
