Slow Through the Dark - Solo Exhibition by African American artist @thelifeoftelvin at the National Museum of Ghana will now take place on 30th December, 2024 and will be showing until 27th January, 2025.

Slow Through the Dark” explores the intersection of justice, power, and influence through a contemporary lens, drawing inspiration from Paul Laurence Dunbar’s poetry. Influenced by the themes in David Donkor’s Spiders of the Market, this body of work contemplates how individuals navigate systems of power, exploitation, and resistance, much like the Ghanaian market performers who challenge neoliberalism and foreign dominance through art.

Opening reception : 30th December, 2024

Closing reception : 27th January, 2025
