Set to be held at the National Museum of Ghana, "Stitching Cultures Together," is an intercontinental exhibition that showcases a collaborative effort between African American quilt artists and three emerging Ghanaian quilting arts organizations: AAAG, The Quilt Guild of Ghana, and Basics International.
Explore artworks that narrate our stories, cultures, traditions, and history, beautifully stitching and connecting us as sisters of the cloth.
American Artists on display: Pamela Bell, Jana Broady, Evolyn Brooks, Carolyn Davis, Susan Gaddy Pope, Marlene Gary Hogan, Carole Gary Staples, Janet O. Green, Jereann King Johnson, Maisha Omotunde, Jane Perry, Stefanie Rivers, Glendora Simonson and Milan Staples.
