The pearl of Ghana

Here is an opportunity to explore some of the unique attractions in the Oti and Volta Regions of Ghana. Described as the pearl of Ghana, the area is the narrowest of Ghana’s sixteen Regions. It has: the highest and lowest points in Ghana, a representation of Ghana’s vegetation zones, major ethnic groups, unique cultural practices and festivals. It is also the only region that was under two colonial administrations – German and British, and a Trust Territory before becoming part of Ghana.
